Nenad Ilic is an expert with legal background with over 15 years’ of experience with local and international law.

Had a main role in drafting the Law on PPP and Concessions of the Republic of Serbia which is considered as one of the highest compliant with respect the best international standards of all 38 countries of EBRD operation as evidence by the 2017-2018 EBRD PPP/concession legal framework Assessment.
Career included facilitation of signing important documents such as Intergovernmental Agreements with different countries, drafting of number of laws and regulations.
Has worked with government institutions and key national and local stakeholders such as Government Ministries (Ministry of International Economic Relations, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure, Ministry of Energy), International organisations and IFIs (GIZ, World Bank, DIFID, EBRD, UNDP), Privatization Agency, Shareholder Fund of the Republic of Serbia, Public Enterprises, Public Procurement Office, Commission for Protection of Bidders Rights in Public Procurement procedures, Local Municipalities on Implementation of different State Policies, including Institutional Setup (PPP Commission), Key expert on the ongoing Road Reform Project financed by WB, expert on Connecta WB6 Project, Counsel for the harmonisation process of PPP and Concession Law of the Republic for Serbia with the Concession Award EU Directive, Reorganising various State Agencies and Institutions such as Merger of SMECA (Serbia and Montenegro Export Credit Agency) into AOFI (Serbian Export Credit and Insurance Agency), Republic Geodetic Authority (assessing legal impediments for financial self-sufficiency), structuring different reform projects. Nenad is specialised in public institution relationship, administrative procedures, legal issues, project management, development of project documents, institutional and enterprise reforms, tender documents, regulations, public private partnership etc.

â–² Nenad holds degree in law of Belgrade University Faculty of Law awarded in 2000,
â–² Bar Exam in 2002, Public Notary Exam in 2013 and Solicitor’s Exam in 2014.
